The Nourish Approach

At Nourish Pediatric Therapy, we believe children learn best through connection, play, and meaningful experiences. Therapy is play-based and guided by each child’s interests, allowing us to build skills in ways that feel motivating and natural.

We view parents as the experts on their child. Your insights, observations, and goals help shape the therapy process, and we work together to develop strategies that fit into your family’s everyday routines.

Our care is collaborative, educational, and neurodiversity-affirming. We celebrate each child’s unique strengths while supporting the development of skills that help them participate confidently at home, at school, and in their communities.

We also recognize that every family arrives at therapy from a different place. Some families are just beginning to ask questions, while others have been navigating challenges for years. We regularly check in with parents and tailor our support to meet your family where you are today.

Why choose Nourish?

Family-Centered Care

Parents/caregivers are the experts on their child. Your insights guide therapy goals and decision-making every step of the way.

Strength & Interest-focus

Nourish therapists take the time to get to know each child so that therapy can be guided by their unique interests & strengths while targeting meaningful developmental goals.

Feeding Therapy Expertise

We specialize in supporting infants and children with feeding challenges, from bottle feeding and solids transitions to complex feeding needs. Our therapists have over a decade of experience both as a therapist and a parent navigating feeding challenges within our own family.

Collaborative Care

We partner with families, pediatricians, teachers, and other professionals to support the whole child and ensure strategies carry over into everyday life.

We're a Calm Space

Therapy takes place in a welcoming, child-centered space that feels supportive rather than clinical, helping children feel safe to explore, learn, and try new skills.

Flexible Care Options

Children may be seen in our welcoming clinic in Lenexa, in select schools and community programs, or through virtual sessions designed to help families implement strategies at home.
